Gator Pest Control & Termite, Inc was founded and established in the Yankeetown area in 1978 by Calvin Richie, father of current owner Dallas Helms. In 1983, Dallas and his brother joined their father’s company and moved their location to Dunnellon. Since that time, Gator Pest has remained family-owned and operated. In 2007, Dallas’s son Donnie Helms, joined the company, making him the third generation of experienced pest control professionals in the Gator family.

Owner Dallas Helms, the certified pest control operator for Gator Pest Control & Termite, Inc, takes pride in knowing that over 75% of Gator customers have remained loyal for over 20 years. “We must be doing something right,” says Helms. “It’s good to know that our customers trust us to protect their homes from outside pests. Gator Pest believes that bugs should be our problem, not the customer’s.”
